Tucked away among the gorgeous rolling hills of the North Cornish Coast, Davidstow is a step away from the clamour of modern life.

Treworra Barton was once one of the principle farms in Davidstow, with over 200 acres and Commoners Rights on Bodmin Moor.

The property is still a hefty 20 acres, and retains its cluster of original sixteenth century farm buildings.

The whole complex is Grade II listed, which may explain some of the quirky and often unexpected architectural features! Combining over four hundred years of stonework with the timeless beauty of the Cornish coastline, we hope you'll agree that Treworra and its surroundings are imbued with more than just a touch of magic.

Two dogs! Two dogs! Two Shetland Ponies! Two Shetland Ponies! Three cats! Three cats! Three cats!
Two pigs! Two pigs! Five hens! Five hens! Five hens! Five hens! Five hens! Two donkeys!
Seven sheep! Seven sheep!
Big or small, hoofed or feathery - our menagerie of beasts will never fail to entertain. Many, including the pigs and chickens, have free reign of the grounds. You are welcome to come and help feed them!

We moved to Cornwall in the spring of 2009, bringing a herd of animals with us. Its been quite an adventure since!

A cameraman and a nurse living and working in the New Forest, we were drawn by the wild beauty of the North Cornish coast and decided upon a change of scene.

Its easy to see why we fell in love with the area - there aren't many other places that can lay claim to such breathtaking views, centuries of history and charming character. We found ourselves only a short distance from a serene ocean, a romantic moor, an ancient forest, a bustling town and (thank goodness) an excellent pub.

We are sure that you will love this magical corner of the world, and very much look forward to welcoming you to Treworra.
